About the Test
The STI 28 test is our widest STI-only check. It covers everything in STI 14 and adds cytomegalovirus, chickenpox virus, lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), six more Candida species and the bacteria behind bacterial vaginosis. It uses PCR on one urine sample, so it suits recurring symptoms that earlier tests have not explained.

How to prepare for the STI Test – 28 Infections test
No fasting is needed. Do not pass urine for at least 1 hour before the nurse arrives, so the sample holds enough of any organism. Most of these infections show on PCR from about 2 weeks after a possible exposure.
Understanding your STI Test – 28 Infections results
