How much does maternity care at home cost?
A Care Companion (CNA + BLS) is AED 75 per hour, four-hour minimum. Wound care, dressing changes and bleeding checks need a DHA-licensed nurse, a little higher per hour, same plan. Packages and long-term plans are quoted in writing after the free first visit.
What is the difference between a Care Companion and a nurse?
A Care Companion is a trained carer, CNA-certified, BLS-trained, supervised by our clinical team, not a nurse. They keep the daily routine: pregnancy logs, feeding help, settling the house. A DHA-licensed nurse does clinical work: wound care, dressings, bleeding checks, injections. The free first visit decides which you need.
Do you work with my obstetrician?
Yes. Your obstetrician's plan is the plan. Our doctor reads the latest clinic letter, talks to your obstetrician where useful, and keeps them copied on the chart.
How long does the care run?
Most families plan from around 36 weeks through the first six weeks at home. Pregnancy-only, after-birth-only and shorter plans are all fine, we write it up at the free first visit.
Does insurance pay?
No. Home care in the UAE is paid by you directly. We confirm the price in writing before we start.
