Hair Loss Support drip vs supplement.

The same dose, taken two ways. A tablet has to get through your gut and liver first. A drip does not.

0%Supplementreaches your blood

A tablet goes through your stomach, your gut and then your liver. Most of the dose is broken down there, so only a small part reaches your blood.

0%IV dripreaches your blood

A drip goes into your vein. It does not pass through your stomach or liver, so the whole dose reaches your blood.

The drip, explained

What is the Hair Loss Support IV drip?

High-dose vitamin D3, biotin, MSM and the B-stack. For shedding, thinning and the months after a baby.

The common causes of hair loss are low vitamin D, low iron, pregnancy, and a period of illness or stress. The hair follicle stops growing, and the shedding shows about three months later. This drip contains the ten nutrients a follicle needs to start growing again.

Biotin and vitamin D3 at these doses are poorly absorbed by mouth, and oral biotin can interfere with thyroid blood tests. The drip delivers them directly. Once a month for three months, then assess. A DHA-licensed nurse runs it at home.

Who books it

  • Postpartum hair loss. Heavy shedding three to six months after birth. Start after the first six weeks, with your doctor's approval.
  • Gradual thinning. Thinning at the parting or temples over one to two years. Usually low vitamin D, low iron, or both.
  • After illness, dieting or stress. Shedding that starts about three months after the event.
  • Alongside minoxidil or finasteride. Can be combined with a hair clinic plan. Tell the doctor what you take.
Right for you?

When Hair Loss Support is the right drip, and when it isn't.

If the cause is low iron, a blood test and an iron infusion will work better than this drip. We check first.

How much does a Hair Loss Support IV drip cost in Dubai?

AED 799 for a single drip, including the nurse, the visit and the kit. A pack of 2 is AED 1,518 and a pack of 4 is AED 2,876, so AED 719 a drip. Most clients book the pack of 4 for a three-to-four month run.

What are the side effects?

A warm feeling as the B vitamins go in, bright yellow urine for a day, and sometimes a small bruise at the cannula site. High-dose vitamin D3 is safe once a month; we do not give it weekly. The nurse slows the rate if you feel unwell.

Should I get a blood test first?

If you have never had ferritin and vitamin D tested, yes. Low iron is the most common cause of hair shedding, and if that is the cause, an Iron+ Boost will work faster than this drip. We take the sample at home and have the result the next day.

How quickly will I see hair density change?

Hair grows about 1 cm a month. Visible density change in the mirror typically shows up around the third month of a course; shedding usually drops within 4 to 6 weeks.

Is this the same as biotin pills?

Same family, very different dose and absorption. Oral biotin at this dose is hard to absorb and can interfere with thyroid blood tests; the IV form bypasses both issues.

How does this differ from the Glutathione IV drip?

Glutathione is aimed at skin brightness and tone. This one is aimed at hair and nails, built around the D3, biotin and MSM dose. Many clients run this one monthly and add a Glutathione drip in the run-up to a major event.

Can I have it postpartum?

Yes — only after the first six weeks and with sign-off from your doctor or obstetrician. Many clients start at 3 months postpartum and run a course of three across the next six.

Will it help with my acne?

Some clients see improvement, particularly when the acne is hormonal or post-antibiotic. For active acne, please see a dermatologist; the drip is an adjunct.

Is it safe alongside finasteride or minoxidil?

Usually yes — many of our hair-loss clients run both alongside this drip. Tell us your current treatments at sign-off and the doctor adjusts if needed.
