Overnight paediatric nurse in Dubai, so you sleep and your child is watched.
Overnight paediatric nurse in Dubai: a DHA-licensed nurse stays through the night with your child after a hospital discharge, or when your child is on a clinical plan: insulin, tube feeds, nebulisers, dressings, medicines on the clock. This is the nurse tier, not a babysitter. A well child who just needs minding at night gets a Care Companion (CNA + BLS, a trained carer, not a nurse) instead. A doctor is on standby all night.

What does your child need at night?
When a nurse at night is the right call, and when it is not.
A nurse through the night is for a child whose plan has clinical work in it. A well child who needs minding gets a Care Companion. Emergencies go to hospital.
- A child home from hospital after surgery or an admission, on the first nights
- A child whose night routine has nurse-level work in it: insulin, tube feeds, nebuliser, dressings, breathing care
- A child who fits at night and needs someone awake who can time it and follow the seizure plan
- A NICU graduate home on a feeding or weight plan
- Parents who have not slept properly in days and need one night, or a run of nights, off
- A well child who just needs minding at night, that is a Care Companion babysitter, not a nurse
- A one-off injection or dressing, book a nurse on call instead
- Anything needing hospital equipment we cannot bring home
- Hard breathing, a fit that will not stop, or any emergency, call 998

How much does an overnight paediatric nurse cost?
It is quoted in writing after the free first visit. A DHA-licensed nurse is a little higher per hour than the Care Companion rate of AED 75 per hour. Runs of nights and long-term plans come down per hour. You pay us directly.
Is this the same as a night babysitter?
No. An overnight paediatric nurse is a DHA-licensed nurse for a child whose plan has clinical work in it: insulin, tube feeds, nebulisers, dressings, a seizure watch. A well child who needs minding at night gets a Care Companion, a trained carer (CNA + BLS), not a nurse. The free first visit tells you which one your child needs.
What does the nurse actually do through the night?
Runs your paediatrician's plan: medicines, feeds and checks on the clock, temperature and breathing watched, anything clinical done on time. The nurse stays awake, writes it down and sends a short note on WhatsApp in the morning. A doctor is one message away all night.
How long is a night shift and can I book one night only?
Night shifts run 12 hours. One night is fine, and a run of nights can be put into a package with one price. Either way it starts with the free first visit, same day where we can.
What if something goes wrong at night?
The nurse calls the on-call BestDOC doctor, who is one WhatsApp message away through the night. Hard breathing, a fit that will not stop, heavy bleeding or any emergency: the nurse calls 998 and tells you plainly that it is a hospital call.
