Sciatica physiotherapy at home in Dubai, we come to you.
Sciatica physiotherapy at home in Dubai: a DHA-licensed physiotherapist comes to you, finds what is irritating the nerve, eases the leg pain in the first session and gives you a plan that stops it coming back.

Is it sciatica?
Five questions, one minute. It ends with the right next step — physio, assessment, or a doctor first.
Does the pain run from your lower back or buttock down the back of one leg?
Is it worse when sitting, driving, or first thing in the morning?
Any tingling, pins-and-needles or numbness in the leg or foot?
Did it start after lifting, a long flight, or a new desk setup?
Any numbness around the groin, new bladder or bowel changes, or weakness in BOTH legs?
Not a diagnosis — a guide to the right next step. Answers stay on your device.
Session by session, what should change.
A typical course. Yours is set after the first assessment and adjusted as you improve.
Session 1
Full assessment — back, hips, nerve-tension tests, strength, reflexes — then hands-on treatment and your first 3–5 exercises
You know what is driving the pain. Leg pain usually a little easier the same day

Sessions 2–3
Nerve gliding, soft-tissue release, joint mobilisation; exercises progressed; sitting, driving and sleeping positions fixed
Leg pain and tingling easing; sitting tolerated longer

Sessions 4–6
Shift to strengthening: core, glutes, hip mobility; load added gradually
Fewer flare-ups; longer walks and drives without pain

Final session
Prevention plan — desk, lifting, sleep, travel — and a maintenance exercise set on WhatsApp
Discharged with a plan to keep it away
If not improving by session 3
Physiotherapist refers you to a doctor for review or imaging
No sessions wasted
Most courses run 4–8 sessions over 3–6 weeks, one or two a week. Pay per session; stop any time.

What sciatica is — and what physio does about it
Sciatica is pain that runs from the lower back or buttock down the back of the leg, often with tingling or numbness, because the sciatic nerve is being irritated — usually by a bulging disc, a tight piriformis muscle, or a narrowed space in the spine. It is a symptom, not a diagnosis, so the first job is working out which of those it is.
Physiotherapy is first-line treatment for most sciatica. At home the physiotherapist assesses your back, hips and nerve tension, then uses a mix of hands-on release, nerve gliding, targeted mobility work and a short daily exercise set. Most people notice the leg pain easing within the first two or three sessions; the plan then shifts to strengthening so it does not return.
Why treat it at home
- No car seat, no waiting room — sitting is often what hurts most with sciatica
- The physiotherapist sees your actual bed, sofa, desk and shoes and fixes the triggers
- Same therapist for the whole course, so the plan actually progresses
- Same-day first visit in most Dubai areas
When it is not sciatica — or needs a doctor first
Numbness around the groin, new bladder or bowel changes, weakness in both legs, or pain after a fall or accident need a doctor the same day, not physio. If that is you, message us and we route a doctor on call instead.

More questions? WhatsApp us — reply in ~3 minutes.
How many sessions does sciatica physiotherapy take?
Most courses are 4–8 sessions over 3–6 weeks. Acute flare-ups often settle faster; long-standing sciatica with weakness takes longer. We tell you our estimate after the first assessment.
Will the first session help the pain, or just assess?
Both. The first hour includes hands-on treatment and nerve-gliding work, so most people leave with less leg pain and a plan.
Do I need a scan or a doctor's referral first?
No referral is needed. A scan is only useful if there are red flags or the pain is not improving after a few sessions — the physiotherapist will say if that applies to you.
What does it cost?
AED 300 per 60-minute session at home, paid per visit. No package is required.
Which areas of Dubai do you cover?
All of Dubai — Marina, JLT, Downtown, Business Bay, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Mirdif, Silicon Oasis and more. Same-day in most areas.
Can you treat sciatica during pregnancy?
Yes — sciatica is common in later pregnancy and responds well to gentle physio at home. Tell us how many weeks you are when you book.
Leg pain from your back? Message us.
